RAIDER OFF-SEASON
OFF-SEASON GOALS:
Throughout the off-season your athlete will be pushed both physically and mentally. The weightroom will be essential in competing in our first ever district season in 2010. Speed, Power, and Strength are the primary goals in the next 9 months. Along with these physical attributes we will also incorporate character development. Each Monday we will introduce a character trait and give practical ways to demonstrate it in their daily lives. I will share with you the trait via email each week so you too can help us keep our young men accountable.
OFF-SEASON MOTTO: BUILDING UP MEN IN 2010
WEEK 1 - HUMILITY WEEK 2 - INTEGRITY WEEK 3 - HONOR WEEK 4 - SERVICE WEEK 5 - COURAGE WEEK 6 - PRIDE WEEK 7 - RESPECT WEEK 8 - COMMITMENT WEEK 9 - LEADERSHIP WEEK 10 - RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABLITY
We are asking our athletes to aspire to be a 10. In certain athletic events the participants are judged on a scale where 10 is the perfect score. We are asking our young boys to step up to this 10 week character challenge in which our ending goal would be transformation into society improving men. Thank you for trusting our staff with your boys and we look forward to the opportunity to serving.
Respectfully,
Ben Wright Sunnyvale Raider Football
